ABOUT C-CAP The Careers through Culinary Arts Program (C-CAP) works with public schools across the nation to prepare students
for college and career opportunities in the restaurant and hospitality industry. The 17-year-old national nonprofit provides
Teacher Training, Scholarships, Cooking Competitions, Job Training and Internships, College and Career Advising, Product and
Equipment Donations, and C-CAP Approved certification.
With C-CAP’s help, over 3,635 teachers have expanded
their culinary skills and teaching techniques and more than 100,000 students have benefited from enhanced culinary education.
C-CAP manages the largest independent culinary scholarship program in the United States and has awarded over 2,100
scholarships, valued at over $22.2 million, to students to attend culinary schools and universities.
C-CAP has
delivered more than $2 million worth of equipment and supplies to under-stocked and under-equipped classrooms in eight locations
including New York; Los Angeles; Chicago; Philadelphia; Hampton Roads, VA; Washington, D.C.; and Arizona. Mission Statement Careers
